Contribute
Once you create an account, you can contribute posts to this website. Posts are categorized into:
- Conferences: posts about specific conferences such as call for papers or announcement of accepted papers.
- Journals: posts about specific journals such as one announcing a new volume.
- Meetings: posts about workshops/seminars/other meetings that do not publish proceedings.
- Jobs: posts about jobs in CS theory.
- Preprints: posts about preprints on arxiv/eccc/similar preprint servers.
- Surveys: posts that survey a sub-area of CS theory.
- Expositions: posts that explain CS theory topics. Expositions should ideally be suitable for a one- or two-hour lecture.
- Stories: posts about people in CS theory.
Link policy
Links to research publications in posts should be permanent links to preprint servers/conference proceedings/journal pages whenever possible. Avoid linking to copies on personal pages or any other resource that could lead to link rot.
Image policy
Use large images sparingly in your posts. If a large number of images are necessary, for example when you want to share an image gallery, host the images elsewhere and link to it in the post. A single representative image from the gallery should be added to such posts.
Tag policy
Posts should only be tagged using one of the pre-defined tags. The following tags are available.
- Venues: posts about conferences/journals/meetings should use one of the tags dagstuhl, focs, fsttcs, etc. as appropriate. A post about a publication in one of these venues should not use these tags.
- Subjects: posts about technical works should use zero or more of the tags cc, cg, dm, etc. as appropriate. Posts about conferences/journals/people should not use these tags.
